Job Description:

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer/Architect to lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and user-focused Salesforce and integration solutions for the DCDEE Early Education Integration System.

This role will be pivotal in shaping the future of the Salesforce ecosystem at NCDHHS, bridging strategic business needs with robust technical architecture. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on expert with cross-functional leadership capabilities and a passion for innovation.

Responsibilities:
  • Architect and implement end-to-end Salesforce solutions.
  • Lead technical strategy and execution across the Salesforce platform.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, tech leads, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical architecture.
  • Design and implement complex API-based integrations with external systems.
  • Ensure solutions meet data security, performance, and compliance standards.
  • Develop backup and restore strategies.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks.
  • Advocate for best practices in Salesforce standard functionality vs. customizations.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation and solution diagrams.
  • Lead code reviews, design workshops, and release planning.
  • Support Agile processes including backlog refinement and user story decomposition.
  • Assist with Salesforce environment setup and CI/CD pipeline using release management tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless project delivery.
