Junior ServiceNow Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior ServiceNow Developer with 1–3 years of experience to support the development, configuration, and maintenance of our ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ServiceNow development tools and scripting, a strong understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions through low-code/no-code and custom implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications using low-code/no-code methods
• Implement ITIL and ITSM best practices within the platform
• Design and configure ServiceNow components including Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and Workflows
• Work with Service Portal, Flow Designer, Glide System/Glide Forms, and other ServiceNow modules to create effective user experiences
• Troubleshoot and optimize workflows using the Workflow Editor and related monitoring tools
• Develop and support web-based customizations using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JSON
• Assist with integration initiatives using technologies such as MID servers, CMDB, and ITOM/ITAM modules
• Implement security controls within ServiceNow using ACLs and other access control mechanisms
• Support directory services integration, including practical knowledge of LDAP and Active Directory setup.

What We're Looking For:

• 1–3 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience with ITSM/ITIL implementation using the ServiceNow platform
• Familiarity with ServiceNow scripting (Client Scripts, Business Rules, etc.) and customization tools
• Proficiency in JavaScript and working knowledge of Angular, HTML, CSS, and JSON
• Practical experience working with ServiceNow Service Portal and Flow Designer
• Exposure to directory services and LDAP integrations
• Understanding of ServiceNow integrations and modules such as MID servers, CMDB, ITOM, and ITAM
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for workflows and business processes

Preferred qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Implementation Specialist certification(s)
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Exposure to additional ServiceNow modules such as HRSD, CSM, or SecOps.
