Job Description:

Job Title: Procurement Analyst II

Job Location: Woodland Hills, CA

Work Schedule: Hybrid - (1st month would be 4 times onsite a week/ one day remote then would be 3 days onsite 2 days remote)

Salary: $65000 - 80000/Yearly

Responsibilities:

The Procurement Analyst II (Contractor) will support all aspects of procurement for the Global IT Infrastructure team in the Information Technology department of the organization.This mid-level position is responsible for ensuring compliance with procurement policies, optimizing supplier relationships, and delivering value through cost-effective purchasing strategies. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Procurement

Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for IT products and services in alignment with company policies and business objectives
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to achieve optimal value and mitigate risks
Creative and thorough search approach to ensure that the vendor has the capability, expertise, and resources
Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships with key vendors
Track and report on procurement activities, spend analysis, and cost savings initiatives
Assist in the management of software licenses, renewals, and compliance with relevant regulations
Collaborate with IT, legal, and finance teams to review and approve contracts and agreements
Maintain procurement documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements
Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies and continuous process improvements
Support onboarding and communication of new vendors to the appropriate teams
Assist with specific assignments as needed including reporting and special projects

Minimum Qualifications
5-10 years of experience in purchasing, buying and/or procurement for a mid-to large size corporation
Experience with contract lifecycle management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Communication or a related field

Skills/Abilities
Experience with IT service ticketing systems e.g. ServiceNow
Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience in IT hardware, software, and services procurement processes and best practices
Understanding of contract law and regulatory requirements related to IT procurement is a plus
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
Must be able to multi-task in fast-paced sometimes pressured situations
Able to set and meet multiple and simultaneous deadlines
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
