About the role:
As a Engineer II - Reactor Technologies & Methods you will advance and maintain Nuclear Reactor Technology and Methods Applications and Products.
You will report to the Nuclear Fuel Engineering Manager of Reactor Technology and Methods. The position is located at our Global Headquarters in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. LI-Hybrid mix of on-site and remote days, typically within the same week.

About the role:
As a Engineer II - Reactor Technologies & Methods you will advance and maintain Nuclear Reactor Technology and Methods Applications and Products.
You will report to the Nuclear Fuel Engineering Manager of Reactor Technology and Methods. The position is located at our Global Headquarters in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. LI-Hybrid mix of on-site and remote days, typically within the same week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with Fuel Engineering Methods experts and end-users to understand the areas for methods and application improvement.
- Engage with Fuel Engineering Technology end users to support implementation and feedback
- Implement new modeling tools and techniques to enhance capabilities for nuclear fuel modeling and analysis
- Apply advanced modeling and simulation to support product and process design optimization, safety analysis and licensing activities
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience
- PhD in Engineering or related Discipline (e.g. Materials, Nuclear, Mathematics etc.) or recognized equivalent required (Masters + relevant Experience) 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following disciplineso Nuclear Engineering/Physicso Mechanical/Materials Engineeringo Nuclear fuel thermal hydraulic analysis.
- Experience working with High Performance Computing environments with Linux-based systems
- Understanding of Verification, Validation and Uncertainty Quantification methods
- Experience with modern programming languages such as C/C++, Fortran 95/2003, Java, Python, or C#/.NET
- #LI-Hybrid mix of on-site and remote days, typically within the same week.
