RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Chicago, IL that is seeking a SAP Materials Master Data Analyst.
Job Summary:
The SAP Materials Master Data Manager is responsible for the strategic management of materials-related data within SAP. This includes overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of materials master data, ensuring that it is accurate, up-to-date, and consistent across all systems and processes. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, procurement, and IT, to ensure seamless integration and data integrity.
Materials Master Data Management:
* Oversee the creation, maintenance, and deletion of materials master data in SAP, ensuring alignment with business requirements
* Maintain material master data accuracy, including material descriptions, units of measure, material types, and other relevant attributes
* Establish and enforce data governance standards to ensure data quality and consistency across the organization
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
* Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, and IT teams to define and optimize materials master data requirements
* Act as the primary point of contact for all materials master data-related inquiries and issues across the business
Data Governance & Compliance:
* Develop and implement materials master data policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements
* Conduct regular audits and data cleansing activities to ensure data integrity and compliance
* Identify and address any data gaps or issues that affect business processes, including inventory management, procurement, and production planning
REQUIREMENTS:
* SAP experience within MM Module
* Detail-oriented
* Excel experience
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
