Job Title: .NET Developer with FileNet Experience

Client: Deloitte / State of California (Backfill Role)
Location: Remote (Must work in West Coast hours)
Duration: Long-term Contract

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer with hands-on experience in FileNet and strong proficiency in SQL Server. The ideal candidate will contribute to development, maintenance, and data migration initiatives, supporting critical applications for the State of California. This role requires an individual who is technically strong, self-motivated, and able to collaborate effectively in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based applications using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core frameworks.
Work with FileNet for document management, integration, and workflow automation.
Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance using SQL Server.
Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and project managers to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Participate in data migration processes leveraging AWS DMS (Data Migration Services).
Utilize JIRA for project tracking, sprint planning, and issue management.
Ensure code quality, security, and best development practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and non-production environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of professional experience as a .NET Developer.
1+ year of hands-on experience working with FileNet (integration, configuration, or development).
Strong proficiency in SQL and SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Query Optimization).
Experience working with AWS Data Migration Services (AWS DMS) or similar cloud-based data migration tools.
Working knowledge of JIRA for task and issue management.
Experience with RESTful APIs, Web Services, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to AWS Cloud environment (EC2, RDS, S3, etc.).
Experience with FileNet P8 or IBM Content Navigator.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and debugging skills.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
