Job Details

Role: Senior Product Manager (Policy) Location: Remote Duration: 6-12 months
Overview: As part of its Legacy Retirement Initiative, the Client is seeking a Senior Product Manager (Policy) with deep experience in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance domain, specifically around policy lifecycle systems including Policy Administration, Billing, Audit, Submission, Quoting, CRM, and CDP. The ideal candidate will lead strategic product changes supporting regulatory updates and digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic development and roadmap execution for policy products.
  • Gather and define business and technical product change requirements.
  • Facilitate product vision alignment with internal business and IT stakeholders.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and maintain change documentation.
  • Drive change readiness assessments and monthly release planning.
  • Act as the liaison between business and technical teams for policy product transformation.
  • Create detailed use cases, functional requirements, and high-level scope documentation.
  • Participate in and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly status reports and mentoring trackers.
  • Mentor and train junior product specialists and collaborate with EPMO, Digital, IT, QA, and vendor teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in product management or product ownership within the P&C insurance industry, with a strong emphasis on policy systems.
  • Proven expertise in systems such as Policy Admin, Billing, CRM, CDP, and related customer and insurance platforms.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Track record of strategic thinking and problem-solving.
  • Experience in regulatory product updates and digital insurance transitions.
