Position Title: Technical Project Manager

Pay Rate: 48/hr on W2 - 50/hr on W2
Position Description:
Seneca Resources is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver complex, enterprise-level infrastructure and data center projects in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong ability to manage programs from design through deployment.
This role requires hands-on experience coordinating with engineering, architecture, and operations teams to drive large-scale technology initiatives, release management, and continuous delivery efforts. You will ensure projects meet quality, cost, and schedule expectations while aligning with strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of mid- to large-scale technical infrastructure projects and programs.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, staffing, and risk mitigation plans.
Provide technical leadership and direction to project managers, product owners, engineers, and Scrum Masters throughout the project lifecycle.
Communicate project updates, milestones, and risks effectively to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Manage and coordinate software and infrastructure release cycles, ensuring smooth deployment and rollback processes.
Ensure adherence to Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies and support CI/CD best practices.
Support mission-critical operations in a 24x7 environment, including occasional after-hours or weekend work.
Maintain detailed documentation, reports, and dashboards using MS Project, Gantt charts, and related tools.
Drive continuous improvement across project execution, process efficiency, and release management.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills & Education:
Bachelor s degree in a related technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 7 years of experience managing complex infrastructure, data center, or enterprise technology projects.
Proven background in program and release management with strong understanding of IT infrastructure and engineering operations.
Experience working closely with architecture, operations, and delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Expertise with MS Office Suite, MS Project, Gantt charts, and project tracking tools.
Familiarity with Operating Systems, Databases, Middleware, and Networking Technologies.
Experience with Agile, SAFe, and CI/CD pipelines in enterprise environments.
Strong communication, leadership, and time-management skills with the ability to translate complex technical topics into business terms.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
