  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Information Systems Management, Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Greater-than 5 years experience working with SAP software and specifically configuration Advanced knowledge and expertise working with specific SAP modules, functionality and business processes listed in the application inventory Authority on the integration of business processes to SAP Master Data, integration between the various SAP modules and to subscribing systems. Ability to Inspire confidence with business and IT leadership Strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) Certification in SAP configuration and/or specific SAP modules a must Advanced proficiency using various Microsoft Office tools including SharePoint Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, customers and other IT Personnel Proficiency in IT analysis methodologies (i.e. process flow definition, data flow diagramming, etc.)

  • The SAP Configurator L3 is an advanced, hands-on role responsible for the comprehensive setup, configuration, and optimization of SAP modules to meet complex business requirements. This position requires deep expertise in SAP configuration, functional solution design, and cross-module integration, ensuring that business processes are efficiently translated into robust SAP solutions.
  • Key responsibilities include collaborating with business analysts to document and manage business and functional requirements, analyzing business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies or required controls, and documenting procedures and key performance indicators. The SAP Configurator L3 translates business processes and requirements into functional specifications and SAP configuration rationales or designs, enforcing design standards and best practices while meeting client needs. The role advocates for leveraging standard SAP solutions or packaged software first, before considering customizations.
  • Prototyping configurations, conducting rigorous testing, and applying configurations in the gold client environment are essential tasks, ensuring that solutions are validated and meet business objectives. The role adheres to strict change control procedures, methodologies, and standards, as defined by organizational policies. Collaboration is key, as the SAP Configurator L3 works closely with business analysts, internal and external customers, and QA teams to elicit business concerns, develop workable solutions, and prepare test scenarios and data.
  • A thorough understanding of SAP data structures, sources, and relationships is required, both within a specific SAP module and across multiple modules. The SAP Configurator L3 is accountable for timely completion of work to meet business performance expectations and is experienced in clarifying business requirements to design solutions that exceed expectations. The role demands authority on the integration of business processes to SAP Master Data, as well as integration between various SAP modules and subscribing systems.
  • The ideal candidate possesses more than five years of experience working with SAP software, with a focus on configuration. Advanced knowledge and expertise in specific SAP modules, functionality, and business processes are essential, as is certification in SAP configuration and/or specific SAP modules. The candidate must inspire confidence with business and IT leadership, demonstrating strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including SharePoint, is required, as is the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, customers, and IT personnel.
