Java FHIR Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is seeking a Java FHIR Developer for a remote position. The Java FHIR Developer will work with the development team and the business team in the design, development, and implementation of FHIR-based API solutions to meet the CMS requirements .

Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define specifications for data exchange
* Create conceptual and detailed architecture for APIs using FHIR resources
* Design, develop, and implement HL7 FHIR interfaces and solutions
* Test and troubleshoot HL7 FHIR implementations to ensure reliability and compatibility
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the web application with FHIR API endpoints and other data sources in a seamless manner
* Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing HL7 FHIR interfaces

REQUIREMENTS:
* 2+ years of experience in HL7 FHIR implementation
* Hands-on experience with Oracle and in programming languages such as Java, Springboot, Javascript
* Strong understanding of HL7 FHIR 4.0.1 standard and FHIR implementation guides like DaVinci, CARIN, US Core, etc.
* Experience performing data mapping of Source data sets to FHIR resources
* Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development
* Hand on experience using OAuth
* Deep understanding of AWS cloud services and AWS DevOps
* Experience securing API's

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
