A confidential global organization is seeking an experienced Data Capability Lead to support a high-impact S/4HANA and o9 Transformation. This role is part of a major initiative to upgrade from SAP ECC to S/4HANA and implement platforms like o9, SAP EWM, and Blackline.
This is a leadership role focused on data governance, migration readiness, and cross-functional coordination, temporarily backfilling a key leader on leave. The successful candidate will bring a blend of SAP expertise, data leadership, and global program experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage global data-related workstreams for ERP and planning platform transformationAlign global data strategies with regional deployments and partner ecosystemsTrack sprints, milestones, cutovers, risk mitigation, and dependenciesGuide regional teams during deployment, ensuring readiness and executionServe as a key liaison to program leadership and executive stakeholdersDrive data risk assessments and resolution strategies across all regionsOversee master data, cleansing, harmonization, and governance frameworksCollaborate with architecture teams to align technical designs with process needsEnsure transparent communication and coordination across a global 30 40 person teamMust-Have Qualifications:
10+ years in SAP Data roles (ECC and/or S/4HANA)Experience owning global data workstreams in large ERP implementationsAt least 2 global, multi-year SAP transformation programsDeep expertise in data migration, MDM, and governanceAbility to manage cross-functional and multi-vendor environmentsStrong communication skills, executive reporting experienceComfortable with ambiguity and high-pressure project phasesNice-to-Have Skills:
