Position Title: HR Service Specialist
Location: Richmond, VA (Onsite)
Clearance Requirements: None
Position Status: Contract
Pay Rate: $17/hr - $19/hr on W2
Position Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused HR Service Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers seeking HR assistance. In this role, you will provide exceptional support through phone and case management systems while ensuring accurate and timely resolution of HR inquiries within 24 48 hours. You will play a key role in delivering a positive employee experience, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting HR operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the front-line HR contact for employees and managers, providing high-quality customer service.
Actively listen, ask probing questions, and ensure complete understanding of each inquiry.
Manage, track, and resolve HR4U case inquiries within established timeframes.
Provide accurate HR information using internal knowledge base and resources.
Document all interactions and case updates clearly and concisely in the case management system.
Resolve complex issues and escalate to appropriate HR partners when needed.
Maintain confidentiality of employee data and sensitive information.
Prioritize workflow and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Participate in special projects and support department initiatives.
Demonstrate cultural responsiveness, inclusivity, and professionalism in all interactions.
Required Skills/Education:
0 1 year of experience in a call center or high-volume customer service environment.
Some college coursework in Human Resources or related field preferred.
Strong communication and active listening skills.
Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
Comfortable working with multiple systems and HR technology platforms.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
