Also handle tasks like installation, configuration, monitoring, backup, and recovery, while also addressing performance tuning, security, and user access.

Core Responsibilities:

Database Management: Installing, configuring, and upgrading SQL-Server database systems.

Performance Optimization: Tuning database performance, optimizing queries, and managing indexes.

Security: Managing user access, permissions, and implementing security policies.

Backup and Recovery: Implementing and maintaining backup and recovery strategies for data protection.

Monitoring: Monitoring database health, performance, and availability.

Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving database-related issues.

Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for database configurations and procedures.

Collaboration: Working with developers and other IT professionals to support database.

Specific Tasks:

Database Design and Implementation: Assisting in the design and implementation of new databases, including schema design, and creating database objects like tables, views, and stored procedures.
