Location: Boston, MA (Local candidates preferred)

Join a dynamic Data Platform Team within our Data & Analytics Group, where your expertise will deliver meaningful impact across the enterprise. We re searching for an experienced Data Analyst who thrives at the intersection of business and technology, passionate about driving data-driven decision-making for a leading Investment Management organization.

What You ll Do:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, IT, and Data Owners to analyze, onboard, and steward enterprise and third-party datasets.

  • Lead the analysis and profiling of complex data assets, detecting patterns and data quality issues to ensure accuracy and integrity across all touchpoints.

  • Partner with the development team to enhance and optimize data pipelines, maintaining rigorous controls and data governance standards.

  • Shape business productivity and outcomes by identifying improvements in business processes, data flows, and data usage supporting both re-engineering initiatives and long-term strategy.

  • Document and translate business requirements into actionable data use cases and project deliverables.

  • Play a pivotal role in onboarding new data sources into our centralized repository, guaranteeing seamless integration and quality.

  • Lead and contribute to the creation and refinement of data quality rules in partnership with Data Owners and IT, continuously optimizing controls and monitoring processes.

  • Manage change control activities and participate in robust user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure all solutions meet or exceed expectations.

  • Support ongoing initiatives and strategic programs spearheaded by the Data & Analytics Group.

What We re Looking For:

  • Minimum 8 years experience in Investment Management, with a proven track record in data analysis and interpretation of investment-related datasets.

  • Mastery in identifying data anomalies, trends, and quality concerns at an enterprise scale.

  • Proficiency in SQL (experience with Snowflake or similar platforms strongly preferred).

  • Exceptional communication skills adept at tailoring technical and business information for a variety of audiences.

  • Solid understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality frameworks, and associated tools, with hands-on involvement in implementing and upholding best practices.

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, enterprise-level data projects, including project management responsibilities.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and agile environment, proactively problem-solving and prioritizing competing business needs.

Preferred Experience:

  • Exposure to positions, trades, and transaction data within the investment domain.

  • Familiarity with agile delivery processes and JIRA.
