Position:Data Engineer (Informatica/AWS)

Duration:12+ Months (On-going Contract)
Location:ONSITE - Torrance, CA 90501
Pay Rate:$74.00 per hour (W2 ONLY)
This role is 100% ONSITE, no remote work offered. (MUST be LOCAL or willing to RELOCATE at your own expense)
Informatica Cloud - Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data integration processes using Informatica IDMC.
Responsible for collaborating with business Analyst, Data Architect to understand business requirements for data integration and transformation requirements.
Responsible for design, develop and test application interfaces using various application connectors like SalesForce and AWS.
Responsible for Data validation, process tuning and automation of interface / data transfer processes.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data integration workflows to ensure high performance and reliability.
Evaluate the existing landscape and underlying data layers to provide architectural recommendations to meet business requirements.
AWS - Responsibilities:
3+ years of experience in data engineering.
Strong experience with distributed data processing (Spark, AWS Glue, EMR, or equivalent).
Hands-on expertise with data modeling, ETL pipelines, and performance optimization.
Strong hands-on expertise in building and optimizing ETL pipelines into Amazon Redshift
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of experience in data engineering.
2+ years of experience with Informatica Cloud
3+ years of AWS experience
Hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IDMC), including Data Integration and Application Integration.
Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native services (AWS preferred).
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. PySpark and Shell).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data integration workflows.
Strong understanding of data integration concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data mapping.
Strong background in Data Integration design, develop and implement complex solutions using Informatica is required.
Strong practical knowledge of traditional and agile SDLC methodologies required.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot data-related issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
