Position: Product Manager/ Product Strategist Gen AI
Location: Ideally in San Francisco since client expect him/her to attend office occasionally, otherwise any US location with business trips.
Duration: 12+Months with possible extensions

Job Descriptions:
We are seeking an innovative and strategic Product Manager/Strategist to lead our SEO, GenAI Engine Optimization (GEO), and App Store Optimization (ASO) initiatives. In this role, you will drive Client s digital visibility strategy across traditional search engines, emerging AI platforms, and app marketplaces to maintain our position as the premier destination for consumers.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership and Collaboration:
- Define and prioritize overarching SEO, GEO, and ASO strategies to sustain client's position as a market leader in online sales
- Collaborate with key executive stakeholders to align vision and balance organizational needs effectively
- Work within the Product Management organization to leverage best practices across digital channels impacting multiple platforms
GenAI and Digital Optimization:
- Develop and execute GenAI Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies ensuring client's content is effectively surfaced by models like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity
- Monitor and analyze how generative AI models interpret and present content, iterating strategies to maximize visibility and maintain brand integrity
- Stay current on AI search engines and their influence on SEO and GEO to adapt content strategies accordingly
Performance Metrics and Product Management:
- Define GEO-specific success metrics such as AI-driven traffic, engagement from conversational platforms, and brand mentions in GenAI outputs
- Drive the SEO/GEO roadmap by partnering with business teams to define product and project strategies, guiding prioritization and implementation
- Manage day-to-day GEO & SEO issues, maintain a groomed backlog, and assess technical questions in collaboration with engineering and vendors
Qualifications:
- 3-7 years in product management with a history of launching effective SEO features for large transactional websites
- 3-7 years in consumer-based online experience
- Demonstrated expertise in optimizing content for GenAI engines and conversational AI, including knowledge of prompt engineering and large language models (LLMs)
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, agile methodology experience, and proficiency with SEO tools and analytics platforms
- Experience working with SEO partners like BrightEdge, Optiversal, AddStructure, Botify, Yext, Ayima, Gummicube
