Role: Network Technician
Rate: $25/hour
Location: Philadelphia, PA
 

Provides daily operations support and maintenance for network systems, including wireless and VoIP infrastructure. This role ensures stable, reliable network services across multiple platforms through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support and maintenance for network systems, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and VoIP.

  • Proactively monitor network health to ensure stable and dependable performance across multiple platforms.

  • Configure, test, and troubleshoot computer networks and associated hardware/software.

  • Collaborate with network facility teams and third-party vendors to resolve network issues in a timely manner.

  • Utilize network management tools to detect faults, support telecommunications access, and maintain data flow between systems.

  • Maintain documentation related to network operations, configurations, and issue resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field; or equivalent work experience.

  • Technical certificate or training from a recognized institute is acceptable in lieu of a degree.

  • 0–3 years of IT experience in network or infrastructure environments.

  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and basic troubleshooting methodologies.
