Title: Oracle EBS Technical Consultant
Location: Houston, TX / US Remote
Work Hours: CST Zone (8 AM - 5 PM)
Duration: 6 Months
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy technical components for Oracle EBS (primarily RICEW: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows).
Lead or support the technical upgrade of Oracle EBS from 12.2.9 to 12.2.14
Customize standard Oracle forms, reports, and workflows as per business requirements.
Work closely with functional consultants to understand business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
Develop and troubleshoot PL/SQL procedures, packages, and functions.
Create and manage XML Publisher/BI Publisher reports.
Integrate EBS with external systems using APIs, Web Services, and Oracle SOA Suite (if applicable).
Participate in data migration and conversion activities using SQL*Loader, PL/SQL, and custom scripts.
Support EBS upgrades, patching activities, and performance tuning tasks.
Document technical designs and test results in line with best practices.
Technical Skills:
Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, Forms, Reports, Workflow Builder
Experience with Oracle EBS R12 (12.2.9 and/or 12.2.14)
Hands-on experience with RICEW components
BI Publisher / XML Publisher
Oracle APIs and Open Interfaces
Functional Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with key modules such as:
Financials (AR, AP, GL)
Supply Chain (PO, INV, OM)
HRMS and Projects
Understanding of business flows and data structures
Unix shell scripting (basic to intermediate)
Knowledge of Oracle Application Framework (OAF) [optional, but preferred]
Familiarity with WebADI, Alerts, and Concurrent Programs
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required, or equivalent work experience
