Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Systems Architect in Albany, NY.
Description:
? Responsible for expert analysis, support, development, reengineering, and candidate will provide support for developers working in specific programming languages (COBOL, JCL, and SQL) using common z/OS facilities and products.
? Provide performance analysis and tuning, troubleshooting, capacity planning, benchmark design.
? Develop a streamlined process for z/OS software upgrades and maintenance.
? Design methodologies for data synchronization from operational data stores to a data warehouse across multiple database platforms and varied DBMS'.
? Planning, interfacing, and usage between z/OS and LUW DB2 application databases, data warehouse, Cognos, Identity Insight, and DataStage.
? Act as liaison between Data Management, business customers, and application development staff to ensure that recommended performance considerations are included in reviews, designs, development, and implementation of applications.
? Create cost effective and timely solutions to strategic business requirements utilizing database structures, application methodologies, and coding techniques.
Mandatory Qualification:
? Defines the architecture of a computerized system (i.e., a system composed of software and hardware) in order to fulfill certain requirements, including a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design.
? Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
? 84 months experience training and mentoring staff in Java based technologies which includes design, development, maintenance and end user support.
? 84 months experience with Java programming in an eclipse-based development environment.
? 48 months experience with JavaScript programming in a VS Code based development environment
? 48 months experience with GIT or GitLab for Source Control
? 48 months experience with Maven for Dependency Management
? 48 months experience with JSON schema design
? 84 months experience with browser developer tools provided by Edge and Chrome
