Description
Seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the design and planning of our enterprise voice migration from NEC PBX to Mitel. This role focuses on network topology design, firewall rule creation (Palo Alto), and Cisco switch optimization to support VoIP infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in SIP/RTP traffic flows, voice QoS, and structured change management processes. This is a contract role that is mainly remote but could ask to come onsite in Las Vegas for certain occasions. Requires strong documentation and coordination skills. Success in this role means delivering a fully approved, ready-to-deploy network design that enables a smooth cutover with minimal disruption.

-Familiarity with ITIL or structured change management frameworks.

-Basic scripting or automation knowledge (e.g., Python, Ansible) for network tasks.
