Job Overview:
A large financial services firm located in Irvine, CA is seeking a Facilities Solutions Engineer to join their team. This role is dedicated to supporting the Accounts Payable processes within the Global Finance team. As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enabling and supporting technology solutions to improve efficiencies and drive continuous improvement. You will provide expertise, thought leadership, and stay updated on industry and technology trends to influence business partners effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Support and enhance Accounts Payable processes through technology solutions.
• Collaborate with business partners to improve efficiencies and implement continuous improvement standards.
• Provide expertise in Accounts Payable technologies, including SAP FICO, AP modules, Ariba, and Concur (Invoice and Expense modules).
• Deliver solutions through SDLC activities, including requirements elicitation, system configuration, test documentation/execution, and issue resolution.
• Design and develop solutions with a focus on business insights, analytics, and reporting.
• Apply software engineering best practices to maintain a high-quality and responsive code base.
• Work iteratively, testing assumptions and prototypes to create effective solutions.
• Understand and implement processes for data creation, collection, transformation, validation, storage, and output.
• Communicate effectively with technology partners, functional teams, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in solution engineering and business system analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable technologies, including SAP FICO, AP modules, Ariba, and Concur.
• Deep functional and industry knowledge in Accounts Payable areas.
• Experience in SDLC activities, including requirements elicitation, system configuration, and issue resolution.
• Proficiency in designing and deploying solutions with business insights and analytics in mind.
• Agile mindset with a passion for designing user-centric product experiences.
• Ability to work iteratively and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

Pay Range: $80-$100/hr W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
