Own the technology side of trial: prepare and present digital evidence, run live exhibits/video, and keep the courtroom AV flawless from voir dire through verdict.
Qualifications
- 2 5+ years in trial tech, litigation support, or live AV/production.
- Expert with OnCue or TrialDirector; Adobe Acrobat; PowerPoint; basic NLE (e.g., Premiere) for depo edits.
- Strong Windows skills, file hygiene, and courtroom etiquette; excellent composure under pressure.
- AV fundamentals: signal flow, resolution/aspect ratios, audio I/O, switchers, extenders.
- Outstanding client service; clear communication with partners, associates, and court personnel.
- Experience with exhibit numbering tools, transcript managers (TextMap, LiveNote/Case Notebook).
- Graphic design chops (Illustrator, After Effects for light motion).
- Familiarity with e-Discovery exports, CSV/Loadfiles, and chain-of-custody practices.
- Travel to courthouses and on-site war-rooms; evenings/weekends during trial.
- Ability to lift/move ~50 lbs; valid driver s license.
Note: Our client is looking for an independent contractor who will cover trials in California and is open traveling nationwide on cases . Project based role .
