Job Title: Sr Data Architect
Location: Kansas City, MO
Type: Fulltime Position
Job Description:
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- 8+ years in data engineering/architecture; Good to have at least 1+ years in AI/ML solutions.
- Expertise in cloud data platforms, Spark, streaming, and data modeling.
- Experience with MLOps, model deployment, and monitoring is good to have.
- Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to run workshops.
- Proficiency in Python, Pyspark and SQL.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Facilitate design workshops and translate business needs into data/AI architecture.
- Define data flow, integration patterns, and data models across multiple sources.
- Design and implement data pipelines, ML pipelines, and MLOps practices.
- Establish governance, security, and observability for data and models.
- Lead and mentor engineers; ensure delivery excellence and coding standards.
- Stay hands-on with Spark//Python/PySpark, orchestration tools, and model deployment.
