Description
TEKsystems is looking to hire a team of IT Support specialist to assist in a healthcare migration in the Mount Pleasant, SC area. Ideally starting in November 2025 and lasting through the end of February 2026- this is expected to be a 4 month project, 100% on-site!! This is a 24/7 run environment, so flexibility on shift is necessary to be highly considered. Will include some manual labor, so must be comfortabble walking long distances and lifting IT equipment.
Required Skills:
Experience in PC/ Computer Hardware- can be professional, from an internship, or building computers on a personal level
Experience in Windows OS
If no professional experience, must have IT degree, certification, or personal IT Support experience
Daily Tasks:
Supporting the transition pre-go-live and go-live efforts in hospital and surrounding clinics.
Installing, configuring, and supporting end-user devices, peripherals, and software.
Deployment of various end user hardware, up to and including physical installation, connection to network, and basic configuration (documentation provided). Hardware will include but is not limited to: printers, scanners (barcode and document), carts, laptops, desktops.
Using predefined scripts to test workstations within the footprint to validate printing/mapping.
Submitting incidents/performing basic troubleshooting to rectify issues discovered during testing.
Supporting hardware refresh and facility technology deployment projects.
Collaborating with internal Novant stakeholders for escalations and complex issue resolution.
Performing root cause analysis and providing technical documentation when appropriate.
Providing basic technical training to end users.
Maintaining accurate asset tracking and documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma REQUIRED. Bachelor's degree and CompTIA A+ is PREFERRED.
Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts needed
May nede to drive personal vehicle to surrounding clinics in the area (mileage reimbursement provided)
Must be flexible in working holidays and weekends (the hospital doesn't shut down!)
Must be willing to complete medical compliance
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
