Position: Oracle Subscription Management Consultant
Location: Hybrid Houston, TX
Duration: 1+ Year

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Subscription Management Consultant with extensive experience in end-to-end revenue processes, subscription lifecycle management, recurring billing, O2C process flows, and revenue recognition under US GAAP. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Cloud implementations and will play a key role in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and optimization of revenue streams for subscription-based and service-oriented business models. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional business and technical teams to support subscription setup, billing configuration, pricing models, renewals, amendments, and revenue-related processes.

Key Responsibilities

Functional & Implementation

  • Lead the configuration and functional support of Oracle Subscription Management Cloud.
  • Manage the full subscription lifecycle, including creation, modifications, renewals, upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, and amendments.
  • Configure subscription pricing models, product catalogs, billing schedules, usage/consumption models, proration rules, and discount structures.
  • Work across integrated Oracle Cloud modules, including:
    • Oracle Receivables (AR)
    • Oracle Revenue Management (RMCS)
    • Oracle Subscription Management
  • Support end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) flows for recurring and usage-based billing.

Business Analysis

  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Billing, and Product teams to understand and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional design documents.
  • Recommend industry best practices for Subscription Management, SaaS billing, and revenue compliance (ASC 606 / IFRS 15).

Testing & Support

  • Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing cycles.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues related to subscriptions, billing, and revenue recognition.
  • Provide post go-live support, stabilization, and comprehensive knowledge transfer.
