We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Solution Architect for our esteemed client based in Jersey City. The Oracle HCM Solution Architect will be responsible to lead the design, implementation, and support of Oracle HCM solutions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud (or Oracle E-Business Suite) and possess a strong understanding of HR business processes. As a Solution Architect, you will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that our Human Capital Management (HCM) systems align with business needs, offering innovative solutions and best practices to drive efficiency and success.

Job Title: Oracle HCM Solution Architect
Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid/Onsite - Open to considering remote)
Duration: 6 Months

Key Responsibilities: 

 

·  Solution Design & Architecture: 

o Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of Oracle HCM solutions (Core HR, Talent Management, Payroll, Benefits, Learning, etc.). 

o Ensure solutions meet business requirements and are scalable, sustainable, and optimized for performance. 

o Develop and maintain the architecture blueprint for HCM systems, integrating with other enterprise applications and systems as needed. 

 

·  Stakeholder Collaboration: 

o Engage with key business stakeholders, including HR, IT, and leadership teams, to gather requirements, provide guidance, and recommend best practices. 

o Act as a trusted advisor for HR technology strategy and roadmaps. 

 

·  Implementation & Project Management: 

o Lead or support the implementation of Oracle HCM modules, including system configuration, data migration, testing, and go-live activities. 

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, timelines, and adherence to budgets. 

o Provide technical leadership during Oracle HCM upgrade projects and new module implementations. 

 

·  Technical Expertise: 

 

o Oversee integration strategies with other systems, including Payroll, Time and Attendance, Benefits, and Finance. 

o Ensure security, compliance, and best practices are adhered to within the Oracle HCM ecosystem. 

o Lead technical troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization efforts. 

·  Continuous Improvement & Support: 

o Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle HCM systems, resolving technical issues, and ensuring system performance and availability. 

o Stay updated on new Oracle HCM releases and features, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and future upgrades. 

·  Documentation & Training: 

o Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including design, configuration, and user guides. 

o Provide training and knowledge transfer to HR and IT teams on Oracle HCM functionalities and processes. 

  

 

 

Qualifications: 

·  Education:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, HR, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus. 

·  Experience: 

o 7+ years of experience in Oracle HCM, with at least 3 years in a Solution Architect or Senior Consultant role. 

o Strong hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud or Oracle E-Business Suite (HRMS) is required. 

·  Technical Skills: 

o Deep understanding of Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, Absence Management, Learning, etc.). 

o Strong knowledge of integration techniques and technologies (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, HCM Extracts, HDL, Fast Formulas). 

o Experience with data migration, reporting (OTBI, BI Publisher), and system configuration. 

 

·  Certifications:Oracle HCM Cloud certification preferred. 

·  Other Skills: 

o Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 

o Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. 

o Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

·  Experience with other HR technology platforms. 

·  Knowledge of HR business processes and practices. 

·  Project management certification (PMP, Prince2) is an advantage.
