- A global tech leader is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join its AI/ML Data team. You ll build front-end applications that highlight the power of Foundation Models, using data to elevate user experience and influence product direction. Collaborate with model and product teams to drive design best practices and uncover insights through LLMs. If you have a strong track record in front-end development and influencing product direction, you are invited to apply!
Job Responsibilities:
Develop front-end applications that showcase the advanced capabilities of Foundation Models.
Collaborate closely with the Foundation Model team and Intelligence product teams to design and build user-facing tools.
Create intuitive user interfaces to help understand and visualize complex aspects of user experiences with AI models.
Define and implement best practices for visual presentation and information architecture in data-centric applications.
Conduct exploratory analyses to better understand the capabilities and limitations of large language models (LLMs).
Identify new research or product questions based on insights gathered from data exploration and user interaction.
Minimum Qualifications:
Have experience building front-end applications using React and other UI frameworks.
Have expertise in modern Javascript and data visualization libraries (e.g. D3, VisX, Vega). Data visualization skills are a plus.
Familiarity with API development using web frameworks (e.g., Express).
Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Jest, Mocha).
Have familiarity with at least one backend programming language (e.g. Python) and are comfortable developing tools in a team environment (e.g. git, documentation, testing).
Familiarity with LLM applications, especially agentic workflows.
Are self-motivated and curious with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities and an innate drive to improve how things work.
Have good judgment for balancing art and science when visually communicating information.
Have a high tolerance for ambiguity. You find a way through. You anticipate. You connect and synthesize.
Have excellent verbal and written communications skills and experience in influencing decisions with information.

Duration: 6 months (with possibility to extend)
Work Location: Cupertino, CA (Hybrid)
Pay rate: $78.00 - $93.00 (DOE)
