Description
This Service Desk Technician will assist with the integrity of the IT user and infrastructure computing environments. This includes direct support resolution of technical problems, documentation of procedures, and training staff as needed. The role supports various IT teams and projects and identifies and suggests process improvements. Under the guidance of the team, the specialist evaluates tools and utilities that could enhance the capabilities of the team. The specialist is capable to work on problems with oversight, and proactively escalate only when needed. This role is a Tier 2 specialist and will be handling all of the tickets that are escalated from their L1 HD.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
1. Administer IT user and infrastructure environments and systems, both on-premise and in the cloud.
2. Offers configuration and troubleshooting support to clients. Creates knowledge base articles and cross trains IT staff as needed.
3. Supports project tasks on small and medium sized technical project implementations.
4. Troubleshoot Windows PC and iPads
5. Responds to alerts and escalates events to teams as needed.
6. Administers group policy and Active Directory.
7. Tracks hardware assets and software inventory including licensing.
8. Reviews documentation of knowledge base articles (KB's), network systems, services, and procedures. Identifies areas of deficiency.
9. Performs other duties as requested by the team and business.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
