Our team is looking for a high energy, collaborative and creative Engineering Project Specialist to support Apple Vision Pro engineering teams on developing thrilling new products in an exciting technology space.

Description In this role, responsibilities include overseeing procurement activities such as creating purchase requests, maintaining budgets, and ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of parts for engineering development. The individual will establish and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), handle engineering change orders (ECOs), and provide structured feedback to engineers. They will also coordinate logistics for early prototyping and engineering builds, and manage material readiness through Clear to Build (CTB) analysis and Build Matrix management. Close communication with vendors and contract manufacturing partners is essential to ensure parts arrive on schedule, while mitigating delays and optimizing the flow of materials. Additional duties include traveling internationally to support builds, as well as receiving and distributing incoming shipments from various locations and vendors. This position may also require lifting and moving packages as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications
  • BS/BA degree, or 3+ year industry experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work in a large cross-functional team environment
  • Experience with material management
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrates adaptability by effectively managing multiple, time-sensitive projects while adjusting to changing priorities
  • Able and willing to travel internationally
  • Flexibility to work swing shifts to support remote builds and/or travel overseas as needed
  • Positive customer-first attitude

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of configuration management and BOM structuring for consumer electronic products
  • Experience with PLM tools, Oracle Agile and/or Siemens Teamcenter experience preferred
  • Familiarity with various manufacturing processes and supply chains
  • Experience working with oversea vendors
  • Able to quickly learn new software applications to promote efficiency and productivity (i.e. Tableau)

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $101,700 and $211,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
