Overview
We are seeking an Expert SailPoint IAM/IGA Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow solutions for our organization in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), with a proven track record of delivering complex SailPoint implementations in enterprise environments, particularly in regulated industries such as healthcare. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and compliant identity management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implementation: Architect, configure, and deploy SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow solutions, including identity cubes, roles, entitlements, certifications, provisioning, workflows, and connectors for enterprise applications and systems.
- Customization and Development: Develop and customize SailPoint solutions using Java, BeanShell, and PowerShell to meet business requirements, including custom rules, workflows, and integrations.
- Integration: Integrate SailPoint with enterprise systems such as Active Directory, LDAP, HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP), and healthcare platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner), ensuring seamless data aggregation and synchronization.
- Compliance and Governance: Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Segregation of Duties (SoD), and access certification processes to meet regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST).
- Troubleshooting and Optimization: Perform advanced troubleshooting, performance tuning, and maintenance of SailPoint environments to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, security teams, and IT operations to gather requirements, document processes, and provide training or mentoring to junior team members.
- Project Leadership: Lead end-to-end IAM/IGA projects, from requirements analysis to deployment, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including architecture designs, configuration guides, and operational runbooks.
Required Qualifications
- Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in IAM/IGA, with at least 3 years focused on SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow implementations in enterprise or consulting environments.
- Proven success in delivering complex SailPoint projects, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries.
- Technical Skills:
- Expert-level proficiency in SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow, including configuration of applications, accounts, roles, entitlements, certifications, and workflows.
- Strong programming skills in Java (core, Spring, Hibernate), BeanShell for custom rules, and PowerShell for automation.
- Deep understanding of IAM/IGA concepts, including provisioning/deprovisioning, RBAC, SoD, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with database management (e.g., SQL) and enterprise system integrations (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP, APIs).
- Certifications:
- SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ or IdentityNow Professional/Engineer/
Architect (highly preferred). - Additional certifications in IAM or cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex IAM challenges.
- Leadership and mentoring experience to guide junior team members and drive project success.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare-specific IAM implementations, including integration with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and compliance with HIPAA or HITRUST.
- Familiarity with cloud-based IAM solutions and integration with platforms like AWS, Azure, or Okta.
- Knowledge of other IAM tools (e.g., Saviynt, Okta, Ping Identity) for hybrid environments.
- Project management experience or certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile).
