Role Overview
The Head – Technical Product Management (T&D Software Solutions) will own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for software platforms in Transmission & Distribution Automation & Control. This leadership role drives innovation across SCADA, EMS, ADMS, DERMS, and Grid Analytics solutions while supporting technical sales and customer engagement across the USA.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute product vision and multi-year roadmap for T&D software solutions aligned with market trends, regulations, and grid modernization initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Technical Product Managers, establishing strong agile, lifecycle, and go-to-market frameworks.
- Drive feature prioritization and delivery of grid automation, control, and energy management platforms.
- Partner closely with engineering, cloud, AI, and edge teams to modernize T&D products.
- Engage with utilities, regulators, and industry stakeholders to capture customer needs and market insights.
- Act as a technical pre-sales leader for the US market, supporting demos, RFPs/RFIs, and solution positioning.
- Define pricing, licensing, KPIs, and monetization models to maximize adoption and profitability.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years of experience in Technical Product Management for T&D Automation & Control software
- Strong expertise in SCADA, EMS, ADMS, DERMS, Grid Analytics
- Experience with cloud platforms, AI/ML, and edge computing in power systems
- Proven leadership of high-performing product teams
- Deep understanding of utility operations, grid modernization, and regulatory environments
- Knowledge of industry standards: IEC 61850, CIM, IEEE 2030.5, OpenFMB, NERC CIP
- Experience supporting technical sales or pre-sales in North America (preferred)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- MBA or Master’s in Power Systems / Electrical Engineering preferred
