Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist Greater Charlotte, NCBC/BE Advanced Heart Failure CardiologistPosition Overview: BC/BE Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist for a large multispecialty heart and vascular program Contribute to program growth, including establishing a destination LVAD center Provide outreach and clinical support at multiple facilities in the Charlotte marketClinical Services Include: Non-invasive and interventional cardiology Cardiac imaging (CT and MRI) Electrophysiology (CRM, ICD, and atrial fibrillation ablation) Vascular surgery (open and endovascular) Cardiothoracic surgery (coronary revascularization, high-risk surgical valve repair/replacement) Structural heart and valve procedures (TAVR, MitraClip, ASD/PFO closure, VSD closure, Left Atrial Appendage Closure)Position Benefits: High-volume ambulatory practice with strong referral base and hospital presence Newly established interventional coronary and vascular program with rapid growth Favorable and balanced call schedule 7 weeks combined vacation and CME (after achieving supervisory MD status)Required Skills & Training: Clinical consultative cardiology Proficiency in the management of the full spectrum of heart failure Fellowship training in heart failure, including mechanical circulatory support preferred Recent exposure to contemporary management of heart failure patients through all care transitions Recent or upcoming fellowship graduates are welcome to applyCompensation & Benefits: 2-year salary guarantee Employed position within a large medical group Medical and retirement benefits Relocation allowance CME allowance System-wide EHR (Epic) Malpractice coverage Work-life balanceCommunity Highlights: Vibrant metropolitan area with shopping, dining, outdoor recreation, professional sports, concerts, and cultural events Access to top-rated public and private schools and universities Lake Norman area offers a rapidly growing community near lakes, mountains, and beaches
