Job Title: Model Enablement Software Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Job Type: Contingent Resource Assignment
Job Description:
As a Model Enablement Software Engineer, you will:
- Consult on and participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering.
- Contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables.
- Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables.
- Leverage a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Model Development and Governance team to ensure appropriate model lifecycle compliance and model approval prior to use.
- Actively contribute to all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and overall technical design.
- Develop using technologies such as Python, Spark, Django, Jenkins, API, CI/CD, DevOps tools, and Postgres SQL Database.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
Desired Skills:
- 1-2 years of experience with Apache Spark.
- 1-2 years of experience with API development.
- 1-2 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- 1-2 years of experience with Kubernetes and Docker Containerization.
- 2-4 years of experience with Python.
Additional Skills:
- Hands-on experience with database development, Power BI Report development, data ETL, and querying in a big data environment.
- Strong ability to work independently.
