Job Details

Role: Senior Product Designer

Location: 4 World Trade Center, NY (3 days a week onsite)

  • We are looking for a Senior Product Designer, to help define prototype, and evolve the user experience of a modular internal platform used by investment and operations teams across multiple business units.
  • In this role, you'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and internal stakeholders to translate business workflows into intuitive, scalable interfaces-starting with a Private Equity-focused micro-application. You'll be part of a fast-paced team focused on rapid iteration, reusability, and design excellence at the foundation of a long-term platform strategy.
  • In this role, you will

    UX Design and Prototyping:

  • Translate abstract workflows and business needs into wireframes, clickable prototypes, and detailed design specs.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to validate usability, structure, and functionality early in the process.
  • Iterate quickly on concepts based on user feedback and internal review loops.
  • Design Delivery and System Thinking:

  • Prepare designs for development handoff, including component logic, edge cases, and interaction patterns.
  • Contribute to the creation of a modular design system that supports reuse across different applications and user groups.
  • Ensure visual and functional consistency across evolving screens and product areas.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with engineers to ensure technical feasibility and smooth implementation of your designs.
  • Participate in regular sprint planning, design reviews, and demos to ensure alignment with development timelines.
  • Help build a shared understanding of user needs and interface logic across the team.
  • We're looking for someone with:

  • 6-8+ years of experience designing digital products or enterprise applications, preferably in multi-stakeholder or B2B environments.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI skills, ideally with examples of internal tools, data-heavy platforms, or workflow-driven interfaces.
  • Experience with component-based design in Figma and the ability to work within or evolve a design system.
  • The ability to balance speed and precision - working in iterative cycles with a clear eye for quality and usability.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, especially when working with engineers and non-design stakeholders.
  • Additionally:

  • We value designers who are curious, pragmatic, and excited to build in complex environments. If you're comfortable with ambiguity, fast feedback cycles, and collaborative delivery - this role is for you.
