RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is urgently seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves leading high-visibility projects and collaborating with a growing team of 35 Project Managers and Business Analysts. This is a twelve-month contract position with some onsite work required in downtown Phoenix.

Summary:
As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for adhering to governance processes, engaging stakeholders, preparing status reports, and conducting executive briefings. You will also manage vendors, track budgets, and ensure the successful delivery of project timelines, tasks, and metrics.

Responsibilities:
* Engage stakeholders and prepare status reports
* Conduct project planning exercises
* Manage vendor deliverables, milestone payments, and contract adherence
* Track and manage project budgets
* Create, track, and deliver project timelines, tasks, and metrics

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience and education)
* Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or other project management certifications
* Seven (7) years of experience as a project lead in technology projects involving multiple computer subsystems
* Recent experience in large-scale website design/redesign with upgrades or conversions
* Ability to influence stakeholders and manage conflict
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to be on-site as required by project needs and team activities

We are looking for candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:
* Large-scale website design/redesign with upgrades or conversions
* Constituent or customer management systems involving creation, upgrade, or conversion
* Time tracking systems involving creation, upgrade, or conversion
* Implementation or remediation of security tools
* Mobile device management

Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Business/Public Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
* PMP, ACP, or other project management certifications
* Experience in IT program or project management
* Experience leading IT project management teams
* Experience with vendor management and software implementation/upgrades
* Experience working with public sector organizations
* Proficiency with project and portfolio management tools
* Excellent customer service and business relationship communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
