We are seeking a skilled Salesforce CPQ Billing Specialist to manage and optimize our Salesforce CPQ Billing processes and ensure accurate and timely billing for our clients.

Role Summary:

As a Salesforce CPQ Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and Billing processes to ensure seamless billing operations. This includes working closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Finance, and IT to improve system performance, resolve billing issues, and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Salesforce CPQ & Billing Setup & Configuration:
    Configure Salesforce CPQ and Billing modules, including quote templates, pricing rules, discounting structures, and product catalogs, to align with business needs.
  • Billing Process Optimization:
    Evaluate, streamline, and optimize end-to-end billing processes to reduce errors and improve time-to-bill.
  • Integration Management:
    Ensure proper integration between Salesforce CPQ, Billing, ERP, and external systems for seamless data flow.
  • Troubleshooting & Support:
    Provide support for issues related to Salesforce CPQ and Billing, working with internal teams and vendors to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    Develop custom reports and dashboards to monitor key billing metrics, such as invoice generation, revenue recognition, and billing accuracy.
  • Training & Documentation:
    Provide training to users on CPQ and Billing functionality. Create and maintain user documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Work with Sales, Finance, and IT teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and ensure alignment on business requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience working with Salesforce CPQ and Billing, preferably in a sales or finance environment.
    • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ configurations and integrations with other Salesforce products.
  • Skills:
    • Deep understanding of Salesforce CPQ and Billing functionality (products, price books, quotes, orders, and invoices).
    • Experience with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components for custom solutions.
    • Strong knowledge of billing cycles, revenue recognition, and subscription-based billing models.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Certifications:
    • Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification is highly preferred.
    • Salesforce Administrator or Developer certification is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Experience with data migration tools and integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Jitterbit, or Dell Boomi).
    • Proficiency with Salesforce reporting tools (e.g., Reports, Dashboards, and SOQL).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with Subscription Billing or Revenue Recognition solutions.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Billing module.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, etc.) is a plus.
  • Project management experience in an Agile or Scrum environment.
