We re looking for a strategic and results-driven Product Owner to lead key initiatives in the commercial insurance space. In this role, you will own the product roadmap, manage the backlog, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions. Your ability to translate business priorities into actionable plans will be critical to success. The ideal candidate thrives in an Agile environment, has experience managing complex enterprise initiatives, and understands the commercial insurance industry, policy lifecycle, and insurance value chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and prioritize business initiatives to align with strategic goals and customer value.
  • Own and maintain a clear, actionable product roadmap and backlog.
  • Translate business objectives into epics, features, and user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with business, operations, and IT teams to align on priorities and execution.
  • Ensure solutions meet user needs through testing, validation, and ongoing feedback loops.
  • Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and initiative status with transparency.
  • Foster continuous improvement, using Agile metrics to optimize team performance.
  • Coordinate with technical and business teams on release planning and publish release artifacts.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years as a Product Owner, Senior Business Analyst, or similar role in an Agile environment.
  • 6+ years of work experience in Data warehousing projects
  • 4+ years of work experience in SQL. High proficiency in SQL is required.
  • Must have 2+ years of domain expertise in Property & Casualty Insurance.
  • Must have Worked on projects in DWH/BI in Insurance related industry.
  • Experience in Claims, Billing, Specialist insurance, home and commercial insurance dashboards.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, large-scale enterprise initiatives with multiple dependencies.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and best practices.
  • Expertise in backlog management, roadmap planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience working closely with engineering, design, QA, and business teams.
  • Knowledge of commercial and specialty insurance, or the ability to ramp up quickly.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAFe POPM certification or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Miro, and other product management tools.
  • Experience working in a scaled Agile environment with matrixed teams.
