About Domain

Domain is a leading property technology and services marketplace that is home to one of the largest portfolios of property brands in Australia, including the Domain, Allhomes and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) platforms. In 2025, Domain became part of CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP), a global leader in commercial real estate information, analytics, online marketplaces and 3D digital twin technology. Together, Domain and CoStar Group is dedicated to digitising the world's real estate, empowering all people to discover properties, insights, and connections that improve their businesses and lives.

Joining the PriceFinder Customer UX Squad means stepping into a pivotal role where your advanced full stack expertise, specifically ReactJS, NodeJS, and TypeScript, directly shapes the tools thousands of real estate agents use every day. This is a unique opportunity to act as both a hands-on contributor and a key technical leader, responsible not just for writing and reviewing code, but for architecting robust, scalable solutions that drive our entire Domain Strategy forward.

You'll operate at the intersection of business value and technical excellence, mentoring junior engineers, spearheading initiatives to reduce manual toil (TOIL), and collaborating closely with Product Managers to ensure our Agent-facing workflow and SaaS products remain market-leading. This role is your chance to champion engineering best practices, innovate with emerging tech, and truly define the quality and efficiency of our core products.

What Success Looks Like in This Role
  • Technical Excellence: Building high-quality, scalable, reliable, and performant solutions in collaboration with the team.
  • Architectural Contribution: Architecting solutions that meet both current and future business needs, ensuring alignment with the overall Domain vision.
  • Engineering Leadership: Actively mentoring junior engineers in solution design and building high-quality solutions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Efficiency Champion: Driving strategic initiatives to improve development workflow, reduce TOIL, and champion engineering efficiency for the team and services.
  • System Health: Proactively contributing to the System Health and Tech debt backlog for owned services, and participating in cross-domain technology forums.
  • Operational Readiness: Being an effective on-call responder, continuously improving software quality to reduce incidents over time, and maintaining/patching systems as required.

What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Full Stack Proficiency: Proven experience as a full-stack developer with ReactJS and NodeJS in TypeScript.
  • Experience designing scalable software solutions and working with highly trafficked websites or complex mobile apps.
  • Experience with Microservices architecture, relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases, and Cloud Design patterns.
  • Experience working with common Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating within cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Tech).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) and strong CSS skills with a focus on responsiveness.

Why join us?

We're the kind of place you can make a real impact, with a workplace culture where you can be you. It's a fun, safe space where you'll always feel you belong. Perks of the role include:

  • Continuous opportunities to leap, learn and grow in a team that values creativity and innovation;
