Job Title: Software Tester Informatica MDM
Job Type: Contract (9-12 months plus)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Software Tester with 8 10 years of overall QA experience and strong expertise in Informatica MDM. This role involves the testing efforts for MDM implementations, validating data quality and integration workflows, and mentoring junior testers. The ideal candidate will bring deep understanding of data governance, MDM architecture, and enterprise-scale data validation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
end-to-end testing efforts for Informatica MDM implementations including data model validation, match/merge logic, and data stewardship workflows.
Define comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for MDM components, integrations, and downstream applications.
Validate data pipelines, mappings, and transformations involving Informatica MDM, IDQ, and ETL tools.
Conduct performance, regression, and integration testing of SIF APIs, Hub Console, and external system interfaces.
Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and developers to ensure alignment on requirements and data quality expectations.
Drive defect management and root cause analysis, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues.
Build and maintain automated test scripts for MDM workflows where appropriate using test automation tools.
Serve as a QA lead in Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, retrospectives, and QA process improvements.
Guide and mentor junior QA team members in MDM-specific testing techniques and best practices.
Maintain thorough documentation of test results, configurations, and environments in tools like JIRA, TestRail, or ALM.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
8 10 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
Minimum 3 4 years of hands-on experience with Informatica MDM (version 10.x or above).
Proficient in validating Informatica MDM components: SIF APIs, IDD, Hub Console, match/merge logic, and data governance workflows.
Strong SQL skills for complex data validation and profiling.
Experience testing ETL/ELT data pipelines and working with tools like Informatica PowerCenter or IDQ.
Proficient in using test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Customer, Product, or Supplier Master domains.
Experience with data quality, governance, and stewardship processes.
Exposure to automation frameworks and scripting languages (Python, Selenium, UFT, etc.).
Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
