Job Title: Senior IPC Unigy Engineer Trading Voice & Carrier Services Specialist

Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid two days in office)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IPC Unigy Engineer with deep expertise in trader voice systems, carrier services, and voice recording solutions to support our global banking client s mission-critical trading infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on IPC Unigy experience, including advanced administration, SIP/DID management, and integration with NICE/Verint recording systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to optimize low-latency voice solutions for trading floors.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer and optimize IPC Unigy systems (front-end and back-end) for trading voice communications.

Manage carrier services, including DID, private wires, SIP circuits, and interconnects with global telecom providers.

Configure and maintain hoot-and-holler systems and intercom solutions for real-time trader collaboration.

Integrate IPC Unigy with Cisco CUCM for hybrid voice routing and failover scenarios.

Deploy and troubleshoot NICE/Verint voice recording solutions to ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Develop Power BI dashboards for voice traffic analytics, call quality monitoring, and capacity planning.

Collaborate with network teams to ensure low-latency, high-availability voice services.

Provide L3 support for trader voice incidents and perform root cause analysis (RCA).

Document system configurations, SOPs, and disaster recovery plans.

Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on IPC Unigy experience (administration, deployment, troubleshooting).

Expertise in trader voice systems, SIP trunking, and carrier circuit management.

Familiarity with Cisco CUCM basics (call routing, SIP profiles, gateways).

Experience with NICE/Verint voice recording platforms in financial environments.

Proficiency in Power BI for voice infrastructure reporting.

Knowledge of hoot-and-holler and multicast voice protocols.

Understanding of financial compliance (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd-Frank) for voice recording.
