job summary:

The project is working on the Guidewire Admitted Cyber project which is a very large initiative.


We already have 2 Sr. BAs on the project but we need one additional BA to work on the


Integrations track of the project.




location: Hartford, Connecticut

job type: Contract

salary: $40 - 52 per hour

work hours: 9am to 5pm

education: Bachelors

Sr. BA basics such as conducting requirements gathering sessions, writing user stories and backlogs, strong communication and problem solving skills, ability to take initiative while also working well as a team.




qualifications:

Required working experience & education



  • Work experience in years 8-10 years Sr. BA experience.
  • Education Level - Bachelor of Science


Required Skills and qualifications


Technical Must have


GW Associate Certification a must (in Policy, Claim or Billing Center)


Personal Must have


Sr. BA basics such as conducting requirements gathering sessions, writing user stories and backlogs, strong communication and problem solving skills, ability to take initiative while also working well as a team.


Some P&C insurance knowledge


GW knowledge a must/also see above, GW Associate Certification a must.


Azure Dev Ops (agile tool) (Nice to have)




skills: Technical (Must Have):



  • Guidewire (GW) Associate Certification - in PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter
  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire software


Personal / Functional (Must Have):



  • Senior Business Analyst (BA) experience (8-10 years)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience conducting requirements gathering sessions
  • Ability to write user stories and manage backlogs
  • Initiative and ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Some knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (as an agile project management tool) (nice to have)
