Position details:
Title: Appian Developer
Client: Banking
Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid)
Duration: 06 Month contract to hire
Responsibilities:
- Develop and utilize a library of reusable Appian components for enterprise use.
- Participate in daily activities related to Appian BPM and Java-based plug-ins development.
- Support planning activities, including impact assessments, level of effort analysis, and developer task assignments.
- Conduct detailed design reviews and validate adherence to approved architecture.
- Perform regular code reviews to ensure best practices.
Education Qualification
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent working experience.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in Information Technology.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Appian BPM applications, specifically version 24.x or higher.
- Working with knowledge of Appian architecture, EKS, and Appian cloud.
- Strong technical and analytical skills for system functionality analysis and production issue resolution.
- Experience in system performance tuning and performance-related system design.
- Thorough understanding of relational databases, SQL, XML, and web services (SOAP/REST).
- Experience with Object-Oriented Analysis and Design principles.
- Knowledge of business process modeling and optimization techniques.
- Exposure to infrastructure, network, and enterprise-scale environments.
- Practical experience in designing and building enterprise and/or distributed systems.
- Experience with systems and software architecture.
