Screening & Gear Management
Location :Culver City,CA and New york,NY
- Running screenings in the Apple TV+ Screening and Review Rooms.
- Providing onsite support M-F 9AM-6PM.
- Managing timely responses in the Post Screenings inbox.
- Scheduling, and coordinating screenings in Apple TV+ Screening and Review rooms.
- Maintaining screen booker requests, approving and/or denying requests appropriately.
- Editorial support, assisting with delivery QC issues and needed corrections (approximately 20+ per week).
- Scheduling and operations of internal and virtual screenings (approximately 15+ per week).
- Communicating screening requirements.
- Collaborating with other technical departments.
- Downloading and transferring digital cinema packages to the projection system.
- Coordinating screening files and KDMs with the appropriate contacts.
- Maintaining, organizing, and tracking files for screenings and immersive content.
- Performing pre-screening checks to ensure optimal picture and sound quality.
- Adjusting image quality settings to achieve the desired visual and audio experience.
- Monitoring and adjusting sound systems, including Dolby Atmos or other immersive audio formats.
- Operating digital cinema displays and managing playback queues.
- Operating on-site color and mix reviews.
- Monitoring in-progress screenings for any technical issues and addressing them promptly.
- Reporting any equipment issues or maintenance issues.
- Traveling as needed to and from other Apple buildings and facilities to conduct in-person reviews and troubleshooting screenings and Apple Vision Pro and related systems.
- Apple Vision Pro Support, providing in-person Apple Vision Pro demos and reviews for TV+ employees and other Apple organizations on a case-by-case basis.
- Apple Vision Pro preparation and quality checking files for reviews/demos.
- Prescription lenses preparation for Apple Vision Pro reviews.
- Providing and tracking gear for remote content review, managing timely responses in the gear inbox.
- Tracking inventory and deploying hardware and software assets (approximately 12+ per week).
- Ongoing device updates and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Managing auxiliary equipment including 3D systems, closed captioning devices, mics, and accessibility features to ensure that all attendees have equal access to the event.
- Performing routine maintenance checks on projection systems, including lens cleaning, lamp replacements, and calibration to keep the equipment in optimal condition and ensure smooth operation.
- Identifying and troubleshooting technical issues with projection equipment and sound systems.
- Implementing appropriate solutions to remedy malfunctions.
- Coordinating repairs with vendors when necessary.
