Project Overview:
Join the Enterprise Shared Marketing (ESM) team supporting Benevity, a third-party platform used for corporate philanthropy at Benevity enables employees to request charitable grants (e.g., Big Brothers Big Sisters), and sponsors the platform as part of its social impact initiatives.
The current system routes all data through a single Benevity application. The team is actively working to restructure the backend architecture, separate data sources, and improve data accessibility and management.
Role Summary:
We are seeking a technically strong Data Integration Engineer to support the Benevity grants initiative. This role will focus on building and maintaining data pipelines, integrating MFP files, and organizing data within Snowflake. You will collaborate closely with team members
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using DBT and SQL.
- Integrate and process incoming MFP files from Benevity.
- Manage and optimize data workflows in Snowflake.
- Collaborate with DB2 experts and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow.
- Use GitLab and Control-M for version control and job scheduling.
- Participate in technical interviews and knowledge sharing with the team.
Required Skills:
- Snowflake strong hands-on experience.
- DBT experience shaping data in the warehouse.
- SQL mid to expert level proficiency.
- (optional) MFP file handling experience integrating structured data files.
- GitLab version control and collaboration.
- (optional) Control-M job scheduling and workflow automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with or for.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in corporate philanthropy or social impact platforms is a plus.
