Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer with expertise in the Time and Labor module to join our dynamic team. As a PeopleSoft Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the Times and Labor module within the PeopleSoft application suite. Your primary responsibilities will include customizing and configuring the module to meet the organization's specific needs, ensuring data accuracy, and providing support to end-users.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Module Customization: Customize and configure the PeopleSoft Time and Labor module to align with the organization's business processes and requirements.
  2. Development: Design, develop, test, and implement new features and enhancements within the module.
  3. Integration: Collaborate with other development teams to integrate the Time and Labor module with other PeopleSoft modules and third-party systems.
  4. Data Management: Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the Time and Labor module by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
  5. End-User Support: Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and deliver training as needed.
  6. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of module customizations, configurations, and development activities.
  7. Module Upgrades: Stay up to date with PeopleSoft updates and new releases, and assist in upgrading the Time and Labor module accordingly.
  8. Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data within the module.
  9. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and quality assurance professionals, to ensure successful module implementation and maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a PeopleSoft Developer with a focus on the Time and Labor module.
  • Proficiency in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Designer, and related PeopleSoft development tools.
  • Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture and data models.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Knowledge of best practices in module customization and development.

Skills Required:

  • PeopleSoft certification in the Time and Labor module.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Fluid User Interface.
  • Knowledge of integration techniques, including web services and APIs.
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
  • Previous experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Experience of working with Federal Agencies is preferred.
