For instance, experience optimizing a carrier's network clusters and or deploying a private LTE or a campus Wi-Fi network would allow them to immediately contribute across our various projects.
RESPONSIBLITIES
- Technical Proficiency with RF Tools: proficiency in industry-standard RF tools and software
- Drive Test & Analysis: Experience with drive testing tools (e.g., TEMS, Nemo) and post[1]processing software (e.g., Actix, Windcatcher)
- Planning & Simulation: Familiarity with RF planning tools like Atoll or iBwave
- Spectrum Analysis: Comfort with using spectrum analyzers and RF measurement equipment to identify interference, check VSWR, etc.
- Data and Scripting: basic scripting ability (Python or MATLAB), is a plus. Should be tech-savvy and quick to deploy the right tool for the task, rather than learning on the job.
- Strong Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting Skills: adept at diagnosing issues methodically. Able to systematically check configurations, examine drive data for interference patterns, suggest testing hardware.
- The ability to stay calm, gather evidence (logs, metrics), and pinpoint root causes is essential.
- Knowledge of RF Regulations & Best Practices: The engineer should be well-versed in regulatory and safety aspects (e.g., FCC emission limits, RF exposure guidelines) to ensure our solutions are compliant. Also, familiarity with best practices like frequency reuse patterns, interference coordination, and emerging technologies (massive MIMO, beamforming in 5G). Someone who has led network optimizations for a carrier (hence dealing with these modern tech features) or set up a CBRS-based private network would bring this knowledge.
- Project and Client Engagement Skills: While deeply technical, this role is also client-facing (IPC), so the engineer should have good communication and project management awareness. They should be comfortable explaining RF concepts to non-RF stakeholders. They will need to manage their time across tasks and possibly lead small sub-projects. We often have the RF engineer present results directly to clients, so skills in making presentations, writing clear reports, and interfacing with customer technical teams are needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor's (or Master's) in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications is expected, with a focus on wireless communications.
- 5+ years of hands-on RF engineering experience
- Professional certifications preferred:
- iNARTE Certified RF Engineer - signifies broad proficiency.
- Cisco CCNP-Wireless or CWNP (Certified Wireless Network Professional)
- Vendor-specific certs like Ericsson LTE/5G Optimization or Nokia 5G AirScale Training
- Any courses in 5G NR, antenna design, or similar demonstrate updated knowledge.
- Self driven and adaptable
- Possible travel (field testing at an Air Force Base or theme park site visits) on short notice
- Passionate about RF tech is a bonus - the field evolves (5G Advanced, Wi-Fi 7) and an engineer who stays current will help us stay on the cutting edge for clients.
OUR COMPREHENSIVE BENEFITS:
- Competitive Salary
- Health, Dental and Vision Insurance
- Health Savings Accounts (HSA) with Employer Contribution
- Flexible Spending Accounts
- Long and Short-Term Disability
- Life Insurance
- Voluntary Benefits
- Employee Assistance Program
- Paid Parental Leave
- Wellness Incentives
- Vacation and Holiday Pay
- 401(k) Retirement Plan with Employer Match
- Employee Stock Purchase
- Training and Advancement Opportunities
- Tuition Reimbursement

- Partial Gym Membership Paid
- Team Building Events
- Discount Programs
