As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and develop high-quality web applications, enhance enterprise product features, and contribute across the full SDLC. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and serve as a technical leader on key projects. Compensation:
Salary at DSS Inc is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $80,000.00 to $130,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of DSS, Inc. total compensation package for employees.

Senior Software Engineer will:
- Design, develop, debug, and test web-enabled interfaces for DSS products.
- Enhance existing product features, build new modules, and contribute to new product development.
- Participate in project planning, product maintenance, system enhancements, and rapid issue resolution.
- Mentor junior developers by sharing technical expertise and best practices.
- Serve as the primary development point of contact for one or more projects.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Adhere to established development and documentation standards.
- Provide timely technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, version notes, and user guides.
- Communicate effectively across engineering, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
- Travel occasionally (up to 25%) based on business and client needs.

Education:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

- MCSD or equivalent advanced certifications in Web or Mobile Application Development
- Other relevant software engineering certifications
Years of experience in a similar role:
- 6+ years of professional software development experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing web applications
