Snowflake Developer SCON

Location: Washington, D.C. Onsite

Need candidates who have security clearance or can avail one.

Role Description:

As a Snowflake Developer, you will play a crucial role in translating requirements into solutions on the Snowflake platform. Your expertise in Python coding, familiarity with visualization packages such as Shiny, Streamlit, or Superset, and ability to develop pipelines (ETL) will be essential in recreating pipelines from Palantir Foundry to Snowflake. Your proficiency in SQL, AWS cloud services, and building/testing APIs will be key in building output datasets and visualizations for the client.

In this position, you will be responsible for migrating the client's data from Palantir Foundry to Snowflake and developing pipelines to ensure a smooth transition. Your ability to understand complex requirements and translate them into efficient solutions on Snowflake will be crucial in meeting the client's needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate requirements into solutions on Snowflake
  • Develop pipelines (ETL) in Snowflake
  • Build output datasets and visualizations
  • Write Python code
  • Utilize visualization packages such as Shiny, Streamlit, or Superset
  • Expertise in SQL for data manipulation
  • Utilize AWS cloud services
  • Build and test APIs for data integration

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, IT or related field.
