Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Chandler, Arizona

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical Engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate with integration and test engineers, as well as design engineers, to bring advanced technologies to life. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the design, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting of complex electrical systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform analysis, design, and testing of complex electrical systems based on specific objectives.
  • Review internal, external, industry, and customer requirements to support system and subsystem designs.
  • Conduct detailed analyses to verify designs and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Lead development, coordination, and execution of test programs to evaluate designs.
  • Troubleshoot issues and lead comprehensive failure investigations.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical peer reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including integration, manufacturing, and operations.
  • Prepare and present electrical engineering materials for requirements and design reviews.
  • Perform qualification and acceptance testing, characterization testing, and data analysis to identify trends or degraded performance.
  • Characterize off-nominal behavior of components and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Derive and decompose requirements from documentation and design meetings.
  • Evaluate risks and uncertainties associated with requirements and designs.
  • Participate in trade studies for internal projects and procured equipment.
  • Ensure safety compliance in all aspects of the role.
  • Provide formal peer reviews of engineering designs and analyses.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 0 years of experience.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with missile systems and associated standards.
  • Prior experience in design, testing, integration, and deployment of electrical components or subsystems.
  • Familiarity with engineering documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and test procedures.
  • Experience in root cause failure analysis and resolving nonconformances.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for technical, schedule, cost, and resource challenges.
  • Ability to mentor and cross-train team members across diverse technologies and electrical architectures.
  • Proficiency with basic test equipment (power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMMs, electronic loads).
  • Experience using analytical tools such as MATLAB or Python for data analysis and trend identification.
