Network Engineer III
Orlando, FL- 100% onsite- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
12+ month contract
$50-$75 an hour

Immediate hire for a Network Engineer III, will work within a federal healthcare environment and will be responsible for the design, support, and deployment of traditional enterprise networks and Industrial Control Networks (ICNs) supporting CCTV, access control, and building automation systems across VA sites.

Requirements:
  • Certifications (All Must Be Active): Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+ CE, ISC2 CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • 5-7+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering
  • Proven experience with LAN/WAN architecture, IP routing, VPN, DNS, VLAN, and wireless networks.
  • Hands-on support experience with Industrial Control Networks (ICNs) including: CCTV Systems (e.g., Pelco), Access Control Systems (e.g., AMAG), Building Automation (e.g., JCI Metasys),
  • Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171 Rev. 3 and federal cybersecurity protocols.
  • Experience supporting federal, compliance-driven environments, ideally in VA or healthcare settings.
  • Ability to lead or assist in multi-site connectivity deployments, vendor coordination, and documentation.
  • Strong documentation skills (IP planning, DNS, telecom closet configuration, etc.)
  • Ability to supervise contractors and contribute during planning sessions.
